What should I bring on my eSUP tour?
We encourage you to bring; water, swim suit, sunscreen, hat, water shoes, towel for after tour, reusable water bottle.
Are children allowed on the tour?
Currently we allow persons 13 years and over on our tours. Everyone under 18 has to wear a life jacket for the entire time of the tour while we are on the water. Parent / legal guardian must be present for the tour and to complete minor consent waiver on site before the tour. Only children accompanied be their parents or legal guardians are allowed to participate in the tour.

Should I leave a gratuity?
We highly encourage tipping your guide. An industry standard is 20%. If you feel like your guide was anything less than amazing please let us know by emailing powerboardadventures@gmail.com
How fast will I go on the eSUP?
It depends on weather conditions but we typically cruise around 2-6 mph, and can paddle faster if you choose.
What is an eSUP?
An eSUP is an electric standup paddleboard. We put a waterproof bixpy propulsion system on our paddle boards to give you a boost!
What skill level do I need to ride an eSUP?
Since we are using a Bixpy motor we are using larger size paddle boards that provide greater stability, therefore even someone without paddleboard experience should be able to enjoy the experience. We spend the first part of the tour getting comfortable with the eSUP before we go at a quicker pace.
How do I use the Bixpy motor on the paddle board?
The Bixpy system consists of an enclosed blade motor affixed to the SUP fin, a waterproof battery pack, and a wristband remote control. For additional safety there is a magnetic kill switch. There are 12 speeds and an additional 3 in reverse.
What measures do you take to ensure safety?
Safety is paramount to us. We provide Coast Guard Approved life jackets and whistles to every user, furthermore our experienced guide will spend the beginning of the tour going over personal safety measures for the equipment. Our semi-private group size also provides more safety.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, there is a 250 lb weight limit on our eSUP.

I had so much fun on the eSUP that I want to purchase one, where can I buy one?

If you already have a paddleboard and want to add a Bixpy motor system, we can assist you with that as well. We are an authorized dealer of Bixpy products and can assist you based on your needs!

What is the cancellation policy?
Trips that are canceled by PowerBoard Adventures due to inclement weather, will be rescheduled or refunded.
Reservations that are cancelled 48 hours or more before a scheduled trip will not be charged. Those that are cancelled or in need of rescheduling within the 48 hour window of departure will be charged full price.
No-show participants will be charged full price unless cancelled outside of 48 hours. This includes showing up with less paddlers than the original amount booked for.

PowerBoard Adventures will not launch in unsafe weather conditions. Because of this, trips may need to be cancelled or rescheduled due to safety issues. If this is the case, your reservation will be refunded in full (if it has already been paid). We will not be held responsible for any reservation that you fail to keep due to any unforeseen circumstances. We also reserve the right to change or cancel any tours due to circumstances beyond our control. In this instance, PowerBoard Adventures can refund the tour price, not any other expenses that may have been incurred.
